Then wait for the challenger(s). The first player, registering with the "challenger" option, is the leader of the challengers. Other player can choose to register as followers of the initiator, or followers of the challenger.

If an initiator has not claimed 5 stratigic points, a battle will not start accepting challengers. If a contest initiator does not have challengers, s/he will not win points from other people. The contests do not interfere with normal claiming activities on the Earth. But if the earth is occupied by non-participants of the contest, there could be less prizes to play for in an area for the contest.

When either side of the participants in the contest gained total sum of a value that is equal to the worth of the richest person on Earth at the time the contest started (when first challenger is registered), then the battle is over. Alternatively, if a battle has lasted for more than 90 days, it is also over with winner decided by the side that gets more points. But the reward would be obviously much smaller than a contest that is finished less than 90 days.

The entire battle ground would be divided into a chess board formed by 4 x 4 squares. Winning or losing of the contest is determined by total number of squares that each side -- initiators and challengers -- performing over the other.

Check the battle stats page constantly to see status of the contest and find out which side is winning.

As a initiator of the battle, the winner takes all the properties from the losing side and divide them up by a fixed ratio (leader 50%, follower(s) 50%).

As a challenger of the battle, the winner takes all the properties in the battle area from the losing side and double that amount then divide them up by the aforementioned fixed ratio.
